Shay answered to many names. He started out as Pretty Ricky. As a young puppy he was so excited and curious about what everyone was doing he would ricochet from one side of the yard to the other and was extremely proficient at figuring things out. Shay was a terrific Afghan but he had the same problem as many of our other dogs had in the past being surrounded by dogs that were superior to him. Thankfully, he was not wasted and went on to obtain more performance titles than any of our dogs ever had. Shay ended up with quite the fan club from obedience and agility enthusiasts and they called him Fabio because before he could perform at his events he had to trot around the event center and visit with people he was drawn to.
Shay won an award at the national for the most titled afghan.
