Christine has spent the majority of her life breeding and loving Afghan Hounds both in Australia and the United States. We were fortunate enough to get Aries Jolie Blonde from her kennel, never realizing the HUGE impact she would have on our understanding of the breed, how to breed dogs, vet care, and our understanding of how important contracts and communication are. We will be forever grateful for this education.
Christine instilled in us the belief that Afghan Hounds should be of sound body and mind, and that above else they are hunting dogs. They should be built to hunt at given time. As we have moved through our years in dogs, many of those early conversations about different lines temperaments, and health issues continuously help to guide our breeding decisions.
Christine was tough as nails when it came down to a dogs phenotype and what it had to offer genetically. We are thankful for this education now more than we were in the beginning because back then we would find dogs that we thought were good dogs and she would open fire on them with an automatic weapon. In the end, we realized that she was only looking out for our future and we wouldn’t have or think the way we do now if it wasn’t for her input and her ability to help you through making the hard decisions you are faced with when breeding dogs. Thank you Christine from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us. We hope that our work with your AAA PLUS pedigree has made you proud.
